Our Mission

Applying for housing at A-HOME begins with submitting an application. After it is received, a staff member will contact the applicant by phone to explain next steps, which may include a detailed application, interview, residence visit, and additional documents (medical history, income verification, and references). The process ensures applicants are a good fit for A-HOME’s housing and services.

A-HOME Housing Programs:

  • Single Parent and Family Housing: Apartments in Bedford Hills, Croton Falls, and Katonah provide safe, affordable homes for families, with support from a full-time Case Manager.
  • Independent Supportive Shared Senior Housing: For adults 55+, offering private bedrooms in shared homes located near town centers to support independent living.
  • Independent Shared Supportive Housing for Individuals with Disabilities: Shared homes in Mount Kisco and South Salem with private bedrooms and shared spaces. Residents must be able to live independently; some locations are walkable, while others require transportation.

All programs include case management, with volunteer support available as needed.
